We at Reds Garden Center are always happy to share our gardening expertise to help make your lawn and garden look its best. Throughout the year we host informational seminars on an assortment of gardening and decorating topics.

Come to a class to increase your knowledge and inspire creativity. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced gardener with a green thumb, these classes offer something for everyone. No one needs to feel intimidated about asking simple questions in these basic classes. Get started right in gardening and you can make your garden a source of pleasure rather than a chore.

• Fall Perennial Care: Dividing and Cutting Back
  Saturday, September 11, 2010, 10:00 AM
  Fall is a great time to do gardening activities like dividing and cutting back perennials. It's good for the plants...and great exercise for you as well. Learn the special conditions and techniques to consider at this seminar.

• Tool Sharpening
  Saturday, September 25
  Bring your garden tools to Red's and have them sharpened! The better a tool works, the less work will you have to do! Taking time to maintain your tools properly will ensure that they last for years to come, even decades. Make your gardening easier! Prices for sharpening vary depending on the tool (Rotary Mower Blades, Reel Mower (Hand or Power), Hedge Shears, Small Gardening Shears, Electric Hedge Trimmers, Hoe, Shovel, Spade, Sickles, Edger, etc.). Walk-ins welcome, but for the best service call for an appointment.
